Shane & Kalie are the owners of Water Canyon Winery and Water Canyon Resort. Their contagious energy and passion inspire those around them. As winemakers, their creativity shines, and you can taste the love that goes into each bottle! They are very excited to share their natural wine with all guests that attend their private wine tastings. Shane & Kalie genuinely care about each guests’ experience and want to get to know every person they connect with along the way.

Frequently Asked Questions
Checkin & Checkout
All reservations have a contactless check-in and check-out process. Our property is equipped with a keyless entry door lock that will assign a unique door code for each guest. Guests do not need to check-in or out with resort staff. Simply, go to your assigned Luxury Cabin, enter the assigned door code, and enjoy your vacation!
Early check-ins or late check-outs must be requested 24 hours in advance to ensure that there are no back-to-back reservations that would interfere with the proper preparation of the Modern Cabins.
Cancellation Policy
Water Canyon Resort has a 2-night minimum policy for all reservations.
Water Canyon Resort has a lenient cancellation policy. Guests can cancel 3 days prior to check-in day for a full refund. Cancellations made 2 days or less will receive a 50% refund. If a cancellation is requested less than 24 hours in advance no refund will be issued. Please contact staff directly to cancel a reservation.
Pet Policy
Water Canyon Resort has designated dog-friendly cabins. Not all Modern Cabins allow pets. During the reservation process, please ensure that you are booking the accurate room type for your stay. Violators will be subject to additional fines of up to $500.
We do not charge additional fees when guests bring one pet. The additional cost is factored into our nightly pricing. However, if you are bringing more than one pet, we do charge $50/per pet, per stay for additional pets. Please let staff know how many dogs will accompany you during your stay with us.
Kitchenettes
Water Canyon Resort in Hildale, Utah offers kitchenettes in each Luxury Cabin Our kitchenettes are equipped with a microwave, mini-fridge, and Keurig coffee machine – there are no cooktops inside the studios. For guest convenience, each private courtyard has a fire pit.
Our Modern Cabins in Hildale, Utah have glasses of all sizes, coffee mugs, and a starter kit of paper plates, napkins, and plastic utensils are stocked as well. If any of these items are missing upon arrival, please contact staff and we will bring over replacements.

Water Canyon Resort highly recommends visiting Bee’s Marketplace. This brand new grocery store has a gorgeous salad bar and pre-prepared meals during lunch hours. The store has everything that guests should need to prepare their own meals at their Luxury Studio for dinners. Bee’s even has a full liquor store for those who would like to enjoy a cocktail, glass of wine, or champagne.
The neighboring towns of Hildale and Colorado City have a few restaurant options. Try Canyon Country Cafe or Essential Coffee Co. for a mouthwatering breakfast sandwich or burrito. Edge of The World Brewery and Berry Knoll Bakery have delicious pizza and wings. Fastfood options such as Brother’s Bistro, Arctic Circle, and Subway are also available.
