Give Yourself Some Space

Even if you plan to spend every day of your vacation exploring all that Southern Utah has to offer, few things are worse than returning to your room at the end of a long day to cramped, tight quarters. Many hotels and motels are packed full of tiny rooms — the more they can fit, the more guests they can host each night! But for guests, this means a claustrophobic experience that can make it tough to relax and unwind. Thinking about spending a day relaxing in your room and taking a break from hiking and exploring? You’ll think twice if you book a typical hotel room.

Water Canyon Resort offers an entirely unique experience. You won’t find any cramped hotel rooms here. Instead, our property is home to a number of private one- and two-bed cabins

The spacious, modern cabins offer separate living areas, with a seating area, workstation, kitchenette, and dining table. Each cabin also has a master bedroom with a king bed and a full, private bathroom. Lofted ceilings throughout help make the cabin feel even more spacious and airy. And that’s just the inside — each of our cabins also offers a private patio area with a fire pit perfect for stargazing or roasting marshmallows.

Check the Reviews

The only thing worse than arriving at your destination and finding a tiny room is arriving to find that the experience is nothing like what you expected. Trusting photos alone can leave you disappointed if the hotel or motel looks nothing like their website’s images.

When you’re looking for places to stay in Hildale Utah, it’s a good idea to check out reviews from past guests. What do real guests have to say about Water Canyon Resort?

We loved our stay here! We were in #3 and it was beautifully decorated and clean. They have air conditioning which was so nice to come back to after a long day of hiking (we did Zion, Bryce and the Grand Canyon North rim). Loved the outdoor patio where you can drink wine and look up at the stars. The view of the mountain, located behind the resort, is just breathtaking and never got old. We’re from LA, and we forgot what quiet sounds like, until we came here. It’s incredibly peaceful. If you need any recs on where to go for food in the area, we highly recommend Edge of the World Brewery, Berry Knoll pizza, Essential Coffee and Bee’s marketplace. All were amazing and everyone was incredibly friendly. We also stumbled upon a beautiful park, called Maxwell park. It was just stunning when we went in the evening time and watch the sun hitting the mountain. Can’t wait to come back again!” -Marisa Fentis

“An absolutely WONDERFUL stay. It is the perfect little tiny home for a remote retreat. We built a fire every night and enjoyed the outdoor space as much as the indoor! The bed was incredibly comfortable. I cannot recommend this place enough.

About 50 min drive from Zion National Park, but an extremely easy drive with few turns. There is a grocery store within 5 minutes. The houses are also located at the exact halfway point between Vegas and the Grand Canyon. It is also about 2 hours from Bryce.” -Liv

Look for Unique Amenities

While you might plan to spend your vacation day tripping to the Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce Canyon, or one of the many state parks in Southern Utah, having some unique on-site amenities is great if you find yourself with some downtime. Unfortunately, you likely won’t find much beyond a small pool at most chain hotels.

At Water Canyon Resort, we offer several unique amenities that set us apart from other places to stay in Hildale. Outside of your cabin, you’ll enjoy a private patio, complete with a seating area and a fire pit. Make s’mores while taking in the view of the stars, or sip your morning coffee while watching the sunrise.

You’ll also want to plan some time to visit our newest amenity; Water Canyon Winery!  Our brand new winery is now open to guests. Family-owned and operated, Water Canyon Winery specializes in producing natural wines, and offers tours and tasting to guests.
